Wago 750-438 is an I/O unit designed as an intrinsically-safe DC digital input slice module. It operates with a supply voltage of 5Vdc provided by the system and a fixed 24Vdc supply to field sensing devices. This unit features push-in spring cage-clamp connections and is designed with an 8.2Vdc sensor supply output. It does not use AC supply voltage, and its ambient air temperature for operation ranges from C to +55°C, with a storage temperature tolerance from C to +85°C. The module supports an IP20 communication protocol and has a rated insulation voltage (Ui) of 12mm. Its dimensions are H100mm x W12mm x D67.8mm, and it is housed in a polycarbonate (PC) / Polyamide (PA) 6.6 casing. The module has 2 x digital inputs (NAMUR) for phase-to-phase rated voltage (AC) and supports high-side switching for phase-to-neutral rated voltage (AC). The output voltage (DC) for digital outputs is 2-wire, with a mounting location that includes a 3ms filter. It features digital inputs voltage ranges ≤ 1.2mA (OFF) and ≥ 2.1Vdc (ON) for digital outputs. The current consumption includes a vibration resistance according to EN 60068-2-6 -- 4g and shock resistance according to EN 60068-2-27 --15g. The resistance is rated at 0.27 W, and the display type indicates a secondary current of 2.5mA (5Vdc, system supply) and 16mA (field supply) with no external load. The module is designed to withstand 95% relative humidity (RH, non-condensing).
