About the product
Wago 787-1662/004-1000 is a protection unit designed as a 2-channel Electronic Circuit Breaker (ECB) module. It features reactivation of all tripped channels via a 15-30Vdc pulse for a minimum of 500ms and allows for the switching ON/OFF of any number of channels via a pulse sequence. The unit operates on a supply voltage of 20-28.8Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal, and utilizes push-in CAGE-CLAMP spring connections for connectivity. It has a rated current of 3.2A and a rated voltage of 2 x 24Vdc. The design includes active current limitation, status message for each channel via pulse sequence, and compliance with NEC class 2. The ambient air temperature for operation ranges from -25°C to +70°C, while for storage, it ranges from -25°C to +85°C. The degree of protection is IP20, and the unit features a rated insulation voltage (Ui) of 45mm. It supports a control voltage (AC) with active current limitation of 3.8A (3.2A at Uo > 25 VDC) and includes a 28.8Vdc reverse feed protection along with a suppressor diode (33V) for transient suppression on the primary. The module is designed for mounting on a DIN-35 rail and measures H90mm x W45mm x D115.5mm. It can accommodate connection capacities in environments with 5-96% relative humidity, with no condensation permissible.
