Ixxat by HMS Networks 1.01.0068.45010 is a repeater designed for converting and repeating signals from ISO 11898-2 to fiber optic cable. It features a stackable design with a Texas Instruments SN65HVD251 CAN transceiver and supports a maximum of 120 bus nodes. The device includes a 120Ω CAN bus termination resistor, which is switchable via a DIP switch, and utilizes a Sub-D9 connector for the CAN bus interface with integrated, switchable termination resistors. For fiber optic connections, it offers 2 x F-SMA or ST terminals suitable for duplex lines with multi-mode glass of 50/125μm or 62.5/125μm. The repeater introduces a delay of 300ns, equivalent to a 60m bus length, excluding the fiber optic signal delay time of 5ns/m.
