About the product
Anybus by HMS Networks AB7807-F is a gateway within the X-gateway series designed to function as a protocol translator. This gateway facilitates communication between a PROFIBUS master and a CANopen slave. It supports vertical or flat installation and features galvanic isolation on both BUS and Ethernet sides. Configuration of I/O is managed via a USB port using the Anybus Configuration Manager software. The design includes 2 node address switches (x10 / x1), a baud rate switch, and 10 LED indicators for monitoring fieldbus, sub-network, and device status. It operates on a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc. The dimensions are H127mm x W44mm x D114mm, and it is housed in an aluminium/plastic casing. Connection interfaces include 1 x 9-pin D-sub male connector for CANopen, 1 x 9-pin D-sub female connector for PROFIBUS X1.1, 1 x 9-pin D-sub male connector for PROFIBUS X1.2/RS-232/configuration, 1 x 2-poles 5.08mm plug-in screw connector for power, and 1 x USB connector. It offers an IP20 NEMA 1 degree of protection and is designed for DIN rail mounting. The AB7807-F supports CANopen and PROFIBUS communication protocols, operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +65 °C, and consumes a maximum of 400mA current at 24Vdc (200mA typical). Storage temperature range is -40 to +85 °C. Communication speed can reach up to 12Mbit/s for PROFIBUS and between 10kbit/s to 1Mbit/s for CANopen slave. It is designed to operate in environments with 5-95% relative humidity (non-condensing).
