Pilz PILZ-750040 is a single-channel safety relay designed for various monitoring functions including safety gate, instantaneous E-STOP, and limit switch monitoring. It features DIN rail mounting and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C. The device has a net height of 98 mm, and it supports a rated current for safety output contacts of 3A at 24Vdc (DC-1) and 240Vac (AC-1), and 1.5A at 24Vdc (DC-13) and 230Vac (AC-15). Connection is facilitated through plug-in/detachable screw terminals, belonging to the PNOZ s1 sub-range. With dimensions of W12.5mm x D120mm and a net width of 12.5 mm, it offers an IP40 degree of protection and requires a supply voltage of 20.4-26.4Vdc (24Vdc nom.). The housing is made of PC material, and the unit has a power consumption of 2 W. It operates in single-channel mode without redundancy in the input circuit, detecting earth faults in the start and input circuit. The relay can be activated automatically upon closure of the input circuit or manually with both the input and start circuits closed. It allows for an increase in the number of available instantaneous safety contacts by connecting to contact expander modules or external contactors/relays. Additionally, it includes 2 x instantaneous safety outputs (2NO / 2xSPST-NO each made of 2 N.O. contacts in series; 3A 24Vdc DC-1 or 240Vac AC-1 resistive load) and 1 x instantaneous auxiliary output (semiconductor output; 24Vdc; 20mA), along with 1 x digital input (24Vdc; 60mA) and 1 x reset/start input.
