Festo SDBT-MSX-1L-PU-E-2.5-N-LE is a magnetic Hall proximity/position binary sensor designed for energy chains and robot applications. This sensor is part of the SDBT-MSX series and features an automatic teach-in/programmable design. It is constructed with a reinforced PA and high-alloy stainless steel housing, and a TPE-U/PUR cable, ensuring durability. The sensor is pre-wired with a 2.5m 3-core cable terminated with bare end flying leads for easy connection. It operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values, and can be mounted using a screw-type mount. The sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and offers a degree of protection of IP68, making it suitable for harsh environments. It has a T-slot shape and includes one digital output (switchable PNP; 100mA) with a maximum output switching frequency of 200Hz. The sensor is protected against short-circuit, overload, and reverse polarity for all electrical connections. It features a response time of 2ms for both OFF to ON and ON to OFF transitions, operates in switchable (NO/NC) mode, and can handle a maximum travel speed of 3m/s.
