Schneider Electric 140CPU65150 is a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) CPU processor module designed for complex applications. It features one cyclic/periodic master task, one periodic fast task, 128 I/O interrupt tasks, 128 interrupt tasks, 32 timer interrupt tasks, and 4 auxiliary tasks. It includes a built-in Ethernet TCP/IP coprocessor and supports application-specific I/O such as high-speed interrupt inputs, counter, accurate time stamping, and serial link. The supply voltage is 5Vdc (externally supplied), and it offers multiple connection types including a 9-pin D-SUB (female) connector for the Modbus Plus network, an RJ45 connector for the Ethernet network, another RJ45 connector for the Modbus bus, and a USB mini-B port for connecting the programming PC terminal. It operates on a +32...+140°F ambient air temperature, with a storage temperature range of -40...+185°F. The CPU's clock speed is 166MHz, delivering 10.28k instructions/ms at 100% Boolean and 10.07k instructions/ms at 65% Boolean and 35% numerical. It supports Ethernet/IP, Modbus, PROFIBUS DP, RS-232, and RS-485 networks, and is designed for backplane/rack mounting with a maximum of 26 slots for digital and analog I/O channels. It can accommodate up to 6 communication modules and axes, 6 Ethernet TCP/IP, 6 Modbus Plus, 6 Profibus DP local I/Os, up to 2 local racks (main + extension), and offers 768kB of RAM for program and data, expandable to 7168kB with a PCMCIA card, and 8MB for file storage with a PCMCIA card. Programming languages available with Unity Pro software include Function Block Language (FBD), Ladder Diagram (LD), SFC Sequential Function Chart, Instruction List (IL), and Structured Text (ST).
