About the product
Anybus by HMS Networks AB7808-F is a gateway within the X-gateway series designed to function as a protocol translator gateway. It supports installation in both vertical and flat positions and features galvanic isolation on both BUS/Ethernet sides. The I/O configuration is manageable via a USB port using the Anybus Configuration Manager software. This model combines a PROFIBUS master and a Modbus RTU slave, equipped with 13 configuration switches and 10 LED indicators for various statuses. It requires a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The dimensions are H127mm x W44mm x D114mm, and it is constructed from aluminium and plastic. Connection options include one 9-pin D-sub female connector for serial RS-232/RS-485 (Modbus RTU), one 9-pin D-sub female connector for PROFIBUS X1.1, one 9-pin D-sub male connector for PROFIBUS X1.2 and RS-232 configuration, one 2-poles 5.08mm plug-in screw connector for power (X3), and one USB connector (X4). It offers an IP20 NEMA 1 degree of protection and is designed for DIN rail mounting. The communication protocols supported are Modbus RTU, PROFIBUS, and RS-485. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +65 °C, with a current consumption of 400mA (max) and 200mA (typical) at 24Vdc. Storage temperature range is -40 to +85 °C. The speed capabilities are up to 12Mbit/s for PROFIBUS and 12kbit/s to 57.6kbit/s for Modbus. Humidity tolerance is 5-95% relative humidity (RH; non-condensing).
