About the product
Anybus by HMS Networks AB7871-F is a gateway designed for protocol translation within the X-gateway series. It features a CC-Link slave and ControlNet adapter, allowing for vertical or flat installation with galvanic isolation on both BUS/Ethernet sides. Configuration is managed via a USB port using the Anybus Configuration Manager software. The device includes 2 station address switches (x10 / x1), 2 configuration switches (x10 / x1), and a baud rate switch, alongside 10 LED indicators for fieldbus/sub-network/device status. It operates on a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nom.) and has dimensions of H127mm x W44mm x D114mm. The housing is made from aluminium and plastic, with connection types including 2 ControlNet channel connectors, a 5-pin CC-Link connector, a 2-poles 5.08mm plug-in screw connector for power, a USB connector, and a NAP connector. It offers an IP20 NEMA 1 degree of protection and is mounted on a DIN rail. The communication protocols supported are CC-Link and ControlNet, with an ambient air temperature for operation ranging from -25 to +65°C. Current consumption is 400mA (max) and 200mA (typical) at 24Vdc, with storage temperature tolerance from -40 to +85°C. The speed capabilities are 5Mbit/s for ControlNet and 156kbit/s to 10Mbit/s for CC-Link, operating in environments with 5-95% relative humidity (non-condensing).
