About the product
Banner Engineering DS18AP6LPQ5 is a polarized photo-electric sensor designed for retro-reflective mode operation. It features an M18 threaded mount and is housed in thermoplastic with an acrylic lens. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, making it suitable for various industrial environments. It emits visible red light with a wavelength of 660 nm and can detect objects up to a distance of 3.5m. The DS18AP6LPQ5 has a quick response time of 2ms and includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) for efficient signal processing. It operates in Light-ON mode and is designed in a rectangular shape. For connectivity, it comes pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. This sensor requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with 12Vdc / 24Vdc nominal.
