Banner Engineering IT46ST5-VL is a fiber sensor belonging to the Plastic fiber series, designed with a through-beam system / opposed mode for flexible, individual fiber in-line sensing, specifically for water detection. It features a cylindrical (threaded) end tip made of stainless steel, with the sensing end constructed from glass fiber and encased in stainless flexible tubing fiber sheath. The fiber core has a diameter of 1mm, and the total length of the sensor is 6ft / 2m. It is engineered to operate in ambient air temperatures up to +249°C.
