About the product
Banner Engineering PBP16U is a fiber optic sensor designed for diffuse-reflective system applications, featuring a probe tip with a bifurcated fiber in-line sensing mechanism. This sensor falls under the Plastic fiber series and is equipped with a 0.5mm fiber core diameter. It has a cylindrical (threaded) probe tip made of nickel-plated brass for the sensing end, while the fiber is composed of plastic with a polyethylene (PE) fiber sheath. The PBP16U has a length of 6ft / 2m and is capable of operating in ambient air temperatures up to +85°C.
