Q120RA-US-AFTQ Banner Optical Sensors

Banner Engineering Q120RA-US-AFTQ is a narrow-beam adjustable-field radar sensor designed for precise detection tasks. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +65°C and features a time-of-flight system with background suppression, approved for use in the US and Brazil. This sensor is equipped with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation. Part of the Q120RA-AF series, it offers an IP67 degree of protection, making it suitable for challenging environments. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 12Vdc to 30Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc, and is housed in a durable ABS/Polycarbonate material. It has a rectangular shape and utilizes a 24.075GHz to 24.175GHz transmission frequency within the ISM band. The sensing distance ranges from 3.5m to 12m. It supports both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) operating modes and includes one digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) with protection functions against reverse polarity and short-circuit issues.
