Banner Engineering Q40RW3FF400 W/30 is a fixed-field photo-electric sensor designed for precise sensing tasks. It features an M30 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. This sensor is equipped with a background suppression system and comes pre-wired with a 30ft / 9m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for easy connection. It is designed to operate with a supply voltage of 20Vac-250Vac (200Vac / 220Vac / 240Vac nom.) and belongs to the Q40 AC series. The Q40RW3FF400 W/30 offers an IP67 NEMA 6P degree of protection, ensuring durability in harsh environments. Its rectangular shape is constructed from a thermoplastic housing, providing a robust design. With a sensing distance of 400mm and utilizing infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm, it operates in a Dark-ON mode. This sensor includes 1 x digital output (Solid-state AC output; SPST contact type) and boasts a response time of 16ms / 0.016 s.
