About the product
Banner Engineering QS18EK6EQ is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications with an opposed mode TEACH mode. It features an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. This sensor is part of the QS18 series and comes pre-wired with a 6-inch (150mm) pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector for easy connection. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, ensuring durability in various environments. The QS18EK6EQ operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values. Its rectangular shape is constructed from a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens. This sensor supports the IO-Link communication protocol, has a sensing distance of up to 20 meters, and utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 940 nm. It is capable of operating in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes, providing flexibility for different application requirements.
