Banner Engineering QS18VP6AF250Q is an adjustable-field photo-electric sensor designed for versatile applications, featuring an M18 threaded mount for secure installation. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +60°C and incorporates a background suppression system with potentiometer adjustment for precise sensing. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail, terminating in a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector, ensuring easy and reliable connection. Part of the QS18..AF electronically adjustable background suppression series, it offers a high degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, suitable for demanding environments. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.), with a rectangular, thermoplastic housing and acrylic lens. It has a sensing distance of 250mm and utilizes visible red light for detection. The operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON, with 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) and a quick response time of 2.8ms / 0.0028 s.
