Banner Engineering QS18WE W/30 is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, functioning as an emitter alone. It features an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and is equipped with a pre-wired 30ft / 9m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for easy connection. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +70°C and is housed in a thermoplastic material with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, ensuring durability. It belongs to the QS18 universal voltage series and can be powered by a supply voltage ranging from 20Vac to 270Vac (with 200Vac, 220Vac, and 240Vac as nominal values) or 20Vdc to 270Vdc (with 24Vdc, 48Vdc, and 120Vdc as nominal values), accommodating various operational needs. The QS18WE W/30 offers a sensing distance of up to 20 meters and utilizes infrared (IR) light for detection, with a response time of 16.6ms / 0.0166 seconds.
