About the product
Banner Engineering S18UBAQ is an ultrasonic distance sensor belonging to the S18U straight series, designed with a time-of-flight system and TEACH mode for precise distance measurement. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing and is equipped with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 quick-disconnect connector for easy installation. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C. The S18UBAQ offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6P, making it suitable for challenging environments. Its M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape allows for versatile mounting options. The sensor provides one digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), has a sensing distance of 30 to 300mm, and operates at a 300kHz transmission frequency. It includes protection functions against short-circuits and has an M18 thread size for the mounting process.
