About the product
Banner Engineering T18-2VNFF100IR-2M is a fixed-field photo-electric sensor from the T18-2 series, designed with a background suppression system. It features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. This sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with 12Vdc / 24Vdc being nominal. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, IP68, IP69K, and NEMA 6P. The sensor has an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape, includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; complementary), and provides a sensing distance of 100mm. It utilizes infrared (IR) light and has a response time of 1.5ms / 0.0015 s, with a thread size of M18.
