Banner Engineering T18-2VPLPC-Q8 is a polarized photo-electric sensor from the T18-2 series, designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment for precise control. It features a durable thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. This sensor is pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The T18-2VPLPC-Q8 can function in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40 to +70°C and offers a high degree of protection with ratings of IP67, IP68, IP69K, and NEMA 6P, ensuring its resilience in various environmental conditions. Its M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape allows for straightforward mounting. The sensor provides one digital output (PNP transistor; complementary) and has a sensing distance of up to 6 meters. It emits visible red light and features a fast response time of 1.5ms. Additionally, it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes, with an M18 thread size for compatibility with standard fittings.
