Festo DSNU-1-12-PPV-A is a pneumatic cylinder designed for double-acting, single-ended operation. It features a round cylindrical shape and is constructed with high-alloy stainless steel for the cylinder barrel and piston rod, wrought aluminium alloy for the cover, and nitrile rubber (NBR) and thermoplastic polyurethane (TPE-U(PU)) for the static seals. This model is part of the DSNU Imperial/Inch series and is designed based on ISO6432, including a built-in magnet and adjustable cushioning at both ends. It allows for operation with oil lubrication and position sensing via proximity sensor. The cylinder operates with compressed air as per ISO8573-1;2010 [7;4;4] standards, has a 3/8-24 UNF-2A male threaded rod, and a 1/8" NPT threaded pneumatic port for connections. It is designed to work within an ambient air temperature range of -20°C to +80°C and has a chemical resistance of CRC Class 2 for moderate-corrosion stress. The operating pressure range is +1 to +10 bar, with a 1" bore size (B1"), a 12" stroke length (S12"), and a 0.67" cushioning length.
