The TOUGHBOOK® 30 is a fully-rugged mobile PC designed with MIL-STD-810G and IP65 certified performance. Its 1000 nit sunlight-viewable optional touchscreen with Panasonic CircuLumin™ technology and optional backlit keyboard are moisture and dust-resistant and ensure easy viewing outdoors. It can withstand a 6-foot drop, and has a full magnesium alloy case with handle and shock-mounted flex-connect hard drive with quick-release for maximum durability.

The device has one digital output (PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 100mA) and offers response times varying from 25µs to 24ms depending on the mode. It features a 4-digit red LED display and a 3-digit green LED display for clear indication, with a power consumption of 0.96 W in normal mode and 0.68 W in Eco mode.
