Panasonic LS-501-C2 is an amplifier designed for sensor applications, specifically laser sensors, and is compliant with FDA regulations. It features a laser sensor amplifier with an interference prevention function and includes various timers such as OFF-delay/ON-delay (0.5ms-32s), and a one-shot timer for sensitivity setting. The device supports 2-point teaching, limit teaching, full auto teaching, and manual adjustment, along with AND/OR/XOR logical operations between output1 and the calculation target. Constructed from polycarbonate for both the case cover and housing, it measures 2m in length and is pre-wired with a 2m 6-core 0.2mm2 cabtyre cable with bare end flying leads. It offers protection functions including outputs short-circuit protection and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C. With an IP40 degree of protection, it provides 1 x analog output (4-20mA) for monitor current output and operates in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes. The current consumption is 50mA / 0.05 A under normal conditions and 40mA / 0.04 A in Eco mode, with 2 x digital outputs (NPN open-collector / 24Vdc / 50mA). Response times vary from 60µs to 24ms depending on the setting, and it features an orange LED for operation, a green LED for light emission, and a yellow LED for output selection. The display is comprised of a 4-digit red LED and a 4-digit green LED, with power consumption at 1.2 W in normal mode and 0.98 W in Eco mode.
