Pilz PILZ-773400 is an I/O unit designed as an interface safety I/O module. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55 °C and has a net height of 98 mm. The design accommodates connection for 4 sensors with NO/NO combination. It features a rated current of 3mA minimum for operating output current, 4mA for residual output current, and 100A for conditional output short-circuit current. The connection types include plug-in/detachable spring-loaded (2-point per connection) or screw terminal connections. This unit has an IP20 degree of protection and requires a supply voltage of 20.4-26.4Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The housing is made of PC material, and it supports a length of 8mm stripping length with screw connection and 9mm stripping length with screw connection. The net width is 22.5 mm, and it can accommodate wire cross-sections ranging from 0.25 to 2.5mm2 / 24AWG to 12AWG for various connection types. Power consumption is rated at 3.5 W, with a net depth of 120 mm. It is designed for storage in ambient air temperatures of -25 to +70 °C. The unit features 2 x digital outputs for 1-pole positive-switching semiconductor outputs and test pulse outputs, both at 24Vdc, and 1 x digital output for signal relay output with NO contact. It supports 8 x digital inputs at 24Vdc, 5mA, type 1 EN 61131-2, with a time delay of 500ms for typical switch-on, 40ms for recovery time at max. switching frequency, and 20ms for supply interruption before de-energization. The maximum processing time of input when signal changes from "0" to "1" is 40 ms, and it has a voltage drop of 1 V at the output. Rated impulse voltage (Uimp) is 0.8 kV, and rated insulation voltage (Ui) is 3000 V.
