Pilz PILZ-777768 is a safety relay designed for single or dual-channel operation with functions including safety gate monitoring, instantaneous E-STOP monitoring, limit switch monitoring, and monitored manual reset. It is suitable for DIN rail mounting and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C. The device has a net height of 94 mm, a rated current for safety output contacts of 8A at 24Vdc (DC-1), 8A at 240Vac (AC-1), 7A at 24Vdc (DC-13), and 5A at 230Vac (AC-15). Connection is facilitated through plug-in/detachable screw terminals, and it requires a supply voltage of 93.5-121Vac (110Vac nominal). Part of the PNOZ X8P sub-range, it measures 45mm in width, offers a degree of protection of IP40, and is constructed from PPO housing with an ABS front. The net width is 45 mm, power consumption is 6.5 VA, and the net depth is 121 mm. Operating modes include detection of earth faults, short circuits, and shorts across contacts in various configurations. It features 3 x instantaneous safety outputs, 2 x instantaneous auxiliary outputs, 2 x auxiliary semiconductor outputs, and incorporates protection functions for detecting shorts across contacts. Digital inputs include 2 x digital inputs, 1 x feedback input, and 1 x start input.
