LTX50M-R10-LI0X3-H1151 Turck Industrial Automation Components

Turck LTX50M-R10-LI0X3-H1151 is a magnetostrictive linear position sensor from the EZ-track series, designed with a raised-face and a cylindrical/rod shape. It features an aluminium housing and rod, measuring H46mm x W46mm x D246mm with a 10.3mm rod diameter. This encoder operates with a supply voltage of 7-30Vdc (12Vdc-24Vdc nom.) and consumes 40mA of current. It is pre-equipped with a 5-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for connectivity. The sensor offers a stroke length that includes a 2" null zone, a 2.5" dead zone, and a 50mm measurement span. It provides an analog output (4-20mA; 16-bit) with a response time of 0.5ms / 0.005 s and boasts a measurement accuracy of 16-bits resolution (= 0.001mm / 1μm linear resolution), 0.001mm / 1μm linear repeatability, and hysteresis < 0.01% of span or +/-0.005 whichever is greater (for this device = 0.005"). The sensor is capable of operating in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40 to +85 °C and can be stored in temperatures from -40 to +105 °C. It is protected against reverse polarity and offers a degree of protection rated at IP68, withstanding pressures of 340bar / 5000psi (permanent) and 680bar / 10000psi (short-term). Additionally, it features a visual position indicator with tri-color diagnostic LEDs.
