About the product
Wago 280-998 is a feed-through terminal block designed for efficient wire connection and distribution. It features CAGE-CLAMP spring connections for secure and maintenance-free wire connection. This terminal block is rated for currents up to 23A in Ex e II applications and 20A under UL standards. It is a single-deck terminal with a center marking slot, specifically designed to be suitable for Ex e II applications. The rated impulse voltage stands at 5 mm, and it has a net width accommodating 1 feed-through pole (1P). It is designed for mounting on DIN-35 rail, with dimensions tailored for 0.08mm2 to 2.5mm2 fine stranded or solid conductors, and also for #28AWG to #12AWG fine stranded or solid conductors. The terminal block is made from Polyamide (PA) 66, ensuring durability and resistance to environmental factors. It supports a 3-wire connection (2 clamps + 1 clamp) for versatile wiring configurations. The voltage rating is 600 V for UL and 550 V for Ex e II applications, with dimensions of H50.5mm x W5mm x D36.5mm, making it compact and easy to integrate into various electrical installations.
