Wago 852-303 is an industrial Gigabit managed Ethernet network switch that supports a variety of communication standards including IEEE 802.3 10BASE-T, IEEE 802.3u 100BASE-TX/FX, IEEE 802.3z 1000BASE-SX/LX, IEEE 802.3x Flow Control, IEEE 802.1w Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP), IEEE 802.1q VLAN Tagging, IEEE 802.1ab Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP), IEEE 802.1p Prioritization, IEEE 802.1X Port Authentication, and ITU-T G8032v1/v2 Ethernet Ring Protection Switching (ERPS). It features a DIP switch for signal contact, Web-Based-Management, Command Line Interface, and SNMPv1/v2c/v3 for comprehensive network management. The switch operates on a supply voltage of 12-60Vdc and includes 8 RJ45 ports supporting 100BASE-TX, 2 SFP ports for single-mode/multi-mode 100BASE-FX / 1000BASE-SX/LX connections, and 1 RS-232 port. It is designed with redundant DC power supply contacts, operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40°C to +70°C for operation and -40°C to +80°C for storage, and offers a degree of protection rated at IP30. The unit is housed in an aluminium case, measures 162mm in height, 50mm in width, and 120mm in depth, and consumes 12W of power. It can manage up to 16,000 connections and is suitable for mounting on DIN-35 rail or wall, ensuring flexibility in installation.
