Banner Engineering DS18AP6LPQ8-79909 is a polarized photo-electric sensor designed for retro-reflective operation with a visible red light of 660 nm wavelength. It features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and offers a sensing distance of up to 3.5m. It has a quick response time of 2ms and includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) for signaling. The DS18AP6LPQ8-79909 is designed for M18 threaded mount installation, operates in a Light-ON mode, and is protected against ingress with an IP67 NEMA 6 rating. It requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values.
