Banner Engineering DX80SR2M-HL is a Gateway designed for surface mounting, featuring a polycarbonate housing, polycarbonate rotary dial cover, polyester labels, EDPM rubber cover gasket, and nitrile rubber. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6. The dimensions of this rectangular-shaped device are H41.3mm x W80.9mm x D80.1mm. It includes a visual position indicator with red/green LED for radio status and operates on a transmission frequency of 2400 MHz. This MultiHop serial data radio is part of the Serial data radios sub-range and is designed with 2 x bi-color LEDs, an internal antenna, and utilizes FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum) technology. It connects via a 5-pin M12 male connector and requires a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc (12Vdc-24Vdc nom.). The communication protocols supported are RS-485, RS-232, and Modbus RTU, with a frequency of 2.4GHz ISM band 65mW. It is capable of a maximum transmission distance of 3.2km with the internal antenna at nominal emission power.
