Banner Engineering DX80SR9M-HL is a Gateway designed for surface mounting with a polycarbonate housing, polycarbonate rotary dial cover, polyester labels, EDPM rubber cover gasket, and nitrile rubber, ensuring durability in various environments. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6. This rectangular-shaped device measures H41.3mm x W80.9mm x D80.1mm and features a visual position indicator with red/green LED for radio status. It operates on a 900 MHz transmission frequency and is equipped with MultiHop serial data radio functionality. As part of the Serial data radios sub-range, it incorporates 2 x bi-color LEDs, an internal antenna, and utilizes FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum) technology for enhanced communication reliability. The DX80SR9M-HL connects via a 5-pin M12 male connector and requires a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc (12Vdc-24Vdc nom.). It supports RS-485, RS-232, and Modbus RTU communication protocols within the 900MHz ISM band 1W frequency, capable of achieving a maximum transmission distance of 9.6km with its internal antenna at nominal emission power.
