This part of the EZ-ARRAY series functions as a measuring light curtain array edge/profile sensor, comprising both emitter and receiver pairs. It features a 600mm array length and is capable of detecting objects sized between 5-10mm with a resolution of 5mm. The sensing distance ranges from 40cm to 4m. It offers two analog outputs (4-20mA) and two digital outputs (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC), ensuring versatile connectivity options. The sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and is protected by an IP65-rated enclosure, indicating dust tightness and protection against water jets. Its rectangular shape is complemented by a pre-equipped 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation. The supply voltage requirement is 12Vdc-30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. For communication, it utilizes the Modbus RTU RS-485 protocol. The sensor's design includes 120 beams with a 5mm beam spacing/pitch, facilitating precise detection and measurement tasks.
