Banner Engineering IT29SMSS, part of the Glass fiber series, is a fiber optic sensor designed with a diffuse-reflective system for individual fiber in-line sensing. This sensor features a cylindrical (threaded) end tip made from stainless steel, with the sensing end incorporating glass fiber and a stainless steel monocoil. It has a length of 9ft / 2.7m and a diameter of 3.2mm for the fiber core. The IT29SMSS is built to operate in ambient air temperatures up to +249°C.
