About the product
Banner Engineering LX3RSRQ is a sensor array designed for short-range part-sensing with a cross-hatched light screen, functioning as the receiver component. It features a 67mm array length within a rectangular shape, constructed from an aluminium housing with an acrylic lens and die-cast zinc end caps. This unit is pre-wired, including a 6-inch (150mm) pigtail terminated with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor's dimensions are 114mm in height, 26mm in width, and 32mm in depth, offering a compact form factor. It is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70 degrees Celsius and provides an IP65 degree of protection against dust and water ingress. The LX3RSRQ operates in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes, with a sensing distance between 100mm and 200mm. It includes one digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and boasts a rapid response time of 0.8ms. The sensor is capable of detecting objects as small as 5.6mm, making it suitable for precise sensing tasks.
