About the product
Banner Engineering M18-4VNRL-Q8 is a photo-electric sensor designed as part of the M18-3 (stainless steel) series. This sensor functions as a receiver alone within a through-beam system or opposed mode. It features an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape with a stainless steel housing and an acrylic lens. It comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. The M18-4VNRL-Q8 offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and IP69K, ensuring its operation in various environmental conditions. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes, has a thread size of M18, and can sense objects up to a distance of 25m. This sensor features 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) and boasts a response time of 1.5ms / 0.0015 s.
