About the product
Banner Engineering M18-4VPFF50-Q8 is a fixed-field photo-electric sensor from the M18-3 (stainless steel) series designed with a background/foreground suppression system. It features a visible red light with a wavelength of 624 nm and is housed in a stainless steel casing with an acrylic lens. This sensor is shaped in an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel form and comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The M18-4VPFF50-Q8 can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70 degrees Celsius and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and IP69K. It features an operating mode that allows for both Light-ON and Dark-ON conditions, has a thread size of M18, and provides a sensing distance of 50mm. Additionally, it includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a response time of 1.5ms / 0.0015 s.
