Banner Engineering M18SP6DLQP-74242 is a photo-electric sensor from the M18 series designed with a diffuse mode and chemical-resistant features. It utilizes infrared (IR) light and is encased in a stainless steel housing with an acrylic lens. This sensor is shaped in an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel form and comes pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. It offers chemical resistance and operates within a supply voltage range of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.). The sensor can function in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40 to +70°C and is rated with a degree of protection of IP69K NEMA 6P. It features both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes, has an M18 thread size, and provides a sensing distance of up to 300mm. Additionally, it includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) and boasts a response time of 3ms / 0.003 s.
