About the product
Banner Engineering MAE1816Q is a sensor from the MINI-ARRAY 2-piece models series designed for measuring light screen array functions, specifically as an emitter alone. This part features a 448mm array length in a rectangular shape with an aluminium housing. It has a 3/4" / 19mm beam spacing/pitch and is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm PVC pigtail that terminates with an M12 mini-style connector. The MAE1816Q operates on a supply voltage of 16Vdc-30Vdc, with 24Vdc as nominal. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65 UL type 1. The sensing distance of this sensor ranges from 90cm to 16.5m, with a resolution of 3/4" / 19mm, and it can detect object sizes between 25.4mm and 38.1mm.
