About the product
Turck PBU460U is a sensor designed for pressure measurement and switching applications. It functions as an instrumentation compound pressure sensor/switch within the PC series. This sensor operates in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40°C to +80°C and can measure fluid medium temperatures from -40°C to +85°C. It features a pre-equipped 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector and a 1/4" NPT threaded male process port for easy installation. The PBU460U is encased in a cylindrical body made from 1.4305 (303) stainless steel, ensuring durability, and it offers a degree of protection rated at IP69K. It operates on a supply voltage of 15-30Vdc (24Vdc nom.) and can switch at frequencies up to 180Hz. The sensor supports NO (Normally Open) or NC (Normally Closed) operating modes, which are programmable, and includes two digital outputs (15-30Vdc; NPN/PNP) for versatile connectivity. It utilizes the IO-Link communication protocol for efficient data exchange. The pressure measurement range is -1 to +1bar (-14.5 to +14.5psig) with a measurement accuracy of +/-0.5% FS (of full scale) BSL. The current consumption of the device is 12mA.
