About the product
Banner Engineering PIA26U is a fiber optic sensor designed for precise detection tasks, featuring a through-beam system with an opposed mode probe tip pair of individual fibers positioned side by side in a right-angled sensing configuration. This sensor is part of the Plastic fiber series and operates effectively at an ambient air temperature up to +70°C. It has a 0.5mm fiber core diameter and comes with a cylindrical (smooth) probe tip. The sensing end is made of stainless steel, while the fiber is a plastic material with a polyethylene (PE) fiber sheath for added durability.
