About the product
Banner Engineering PIAT46TMB5 is a fiber optic sensor designed for through-beam system applications, functioning as an opposed mode pair of individual fibers positioned side by side with right-angled sensing. This sensor is part of the Plastic fiber series and features a 1mm fiber core diameter. It is equipped with a cylindrical (threaded) end tip made of stainless steel, while the fiber itself is encased in a Steelskin fiber sheath for enhanced durability. The total length of the fiber is 6ft (approximately 2m), and it is engineered to operate efficiently in ambient air temperatures up to +70°C.
