About the product
Banner Engineering PIE415UT is a fiber optic sensor designed for through-beam system applications, featuring an opposed mode ferrule end tip pair of individual fibers for in-line sensing. This sensor operates effectively at an ambient air temperature up to +70°C. It is part of the Plastic fiber series, characterized by a cylindrical (smooth) end tip. The sensor has a diameter of 2mm at the end and a 0.25mm fiber core. It is constructed with a stainless steel sensing end and a plastic fiber with a polyethylene (PE) fiber sheath, ensuring durability and compatibility with various environments. The total length of the sensor is 6ft / 2m, facilitating flexible installation options.
