Banner Engineering PIF430U is a fiber optic sensor designed for through-beam system applications, featuring an opposed mode ferrule end tip pair of individual fibers for in-line sensing. This sensor is part of the Plastic fiber series and operates effectively at an ambient air temperature up to +70°C. It has a 1mm fiber core diameter and comes with a cylindrical (smooth) end tip. The sensing end is made of stainless steel, while the fiber is constructed from plastic, and the fiber sheath is polyethylene (PE). The total length of the fiber is 15 feet (5 meters), accommodating a variety of installation requirements.
