Banner Engineering PIT415UHT1 is a fiber optic sensor designed for through-beam system applications, specifically as an opposed mode pair of individual fibers in-line sensing. It operates effectively at an ambient air temperature up to +70°C. This sensor is part of the Plastic fiber series and features a 1mm fiber core diameter. The design includes a cylindrical (threaded) probe tip made of nickel-plated brass for the sensing end, with the fiber itself being plastic and the sheath composed of polyethylene (PE). The total length of the fiber is 15ft (5m), accommodating a range of installation requirements.
