Banner Engineering PIU460U is a fiber optic sensor designed for in-line sensing with a pair of individual fibers. It falls under the Plastic fiber series and features a cylindrical (smooth) end tip. The sensor has a 1.5mm fiber core diameter and is encased in a plastic fiber polyethylene (PE) fiber sheath. It is designed to operate in ambient air temperatures up to +70°C. The total length of the sensor is 30ft / 9m, accommodating various installation requirements.
