Banner Engineering Q20PRL is a long-range photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, functioning as the receiver component. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C and is housed in a thermoplastic material, ensuring durability. This sensor is part of the Q20 series and offers a sensing distance of up to 20 meters. It features a pre-wired connection with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads for easy installation. The Q20PRL operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is equipped with one digital output (PNP transistor) and supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. The sensor emits infrared light at a wavelength of 850 nm and boasts a quick response time of 1ms for ON and 0.6ms for OFF operations. It is designed with an IP67 NEMA 6 degree of protection, ensuring resistance to dust and water ingress.
