About the product
Banner Engineering SB12TANR is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, part of the SB12 series. This sensor functions as a receiver alone, housed in a thermoplastic with a polycarbonate lens. It features a 12mm diameter and comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The SB12TANR operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed for snap-in flush mounting in panels up to 3mm thick and can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +50 degrees Celsius. This sensor offers an IP67 degree of protection, making it suitable for various industrial environments. Its shape is an M12 cylindrical threaded/barrel, and it includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor) with a sensing distance of 1.5m. The SB12TANR utilizes infrared light, has a response time of 2.5ms / 0.0025 s, and operates in Light-ON mode, with a thread size of M12.
