Banner Engineering Q240RA-CN-AF2Q is a narrow-beam adjustable-field radar sensor designed with a time-of-flight system and approved by China Telecom. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +65 °C and is housed in a polycarbonate (PC) material, ensuring durability. This sensor is part of the Q240R series and features a rectangular shape with a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for various industrial environments. It is pre-equipped with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity and supports a supply voltage range of 12Vdc to 30Vdc, with 24Vdc as the nominal voltage. The Q240RA-CN-AF2Q operates on a 24.050GHz to 24.250GHz (ISM band) transmission frequency, offering a sensing distance of 1 to 40 meters. It includes two digital outputs (PNP/NPN transistor) and offers operating modes of NO (Normally Open) and NC (Normally Closed). Additionally, it is equipped with protection functions against reverse polarity and short-circuit, enhancing its operational reliability.
