About the product
Banner Engineering QS186LE212 is a Class 2 laser photo-electric sensor designed for precise detection tasks. It features an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +50°C. This sensor is part of the QS186LE series and is characterized by its opposed (horizontal) system design. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, facilitating easy connection. The QS186LE212 offers a high degree of protection with an IP67 NEMA 6 rating, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions. It requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values. The sensor's rectangular shape is constructed from a thermoplastic housing with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, and it is capable of sensing distances up to 15m. The light emitted is visible red, with a wavelength of 650 nm, making alignment and operation straightforward.
