Banner Engineering QS18EK6LPQ8 is a polarized photo-electric sensor designed for versatile applications, featuring an M18 threaded mount for secure installation. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and is designed in a retro-reflective mode with TEACH functionality. It comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector, aligning with the QS18 Expert series standards. The QS18EK6LPQ8 offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and NEMA 6, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions. It requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor's rectangular shape is constructed from a thermoplastic housing with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, capable of sensing distances up to 3.5m. It emits a visible red light with a wavelength of 640 nm and supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
